Runan Zhang
Runan Zhang is the founder and partner of the Law Offices of Runan Zhang. She is specialized in the immigration and corporation law practice representing corporate and individual clients on their immigration matters and business transactions. Ms. Zhang is a frequent speaker to a Chinese governmental agency on the US legal systems, the American law issues and how to do business in the United States. She participated in a billion dollars transaction to assist a Chinese corporation to purchase an iron ore mine in Peru. She has also been representing Chinese companies to open and operate their business in the United States.

In recent years, Ms. Zhang has focused her practice on the immigration and naturalization to assist U.S. corporations and companies to meet their needs of skills by filling openings and positions with qualified foreign nationals. She has also successfully represented a large number of foreign nationals with outstanding professional accomplishments and achievements to qualify as priority workers by extraordinary ability, outstanding professor/researcher and national interest waiver, thus to establish their permanent residency in the United States.

Ms. Zhang was born in Beijing, China. She was a 1995 graduate of Washington College of Law, the American University, and 1987 graduate of Beijing Foreign Affairs College for the study of international private law and China Lawyers Training Center. She is also a 1991 graduate of Carlow College for the business administration program. Prior to establishing her own firm in 1998, Ms. Zhang was a foreign law consultant for Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP and Dickstein, Shapiro, Morin & Oshinsky LLP on the international business transactions. Her legal expertise, language skills, training for business administration and multicultural background have benefited all her clients. She is a highly regarded and respected attorney.

William E. Wallace III
William E. Wallace III is a strategic partner of the Law Offices of Runan Zhang, where he provides the stratigic planning and consulations for clients’ needs to allocate the best legal expertise and services. In addition to his role at the Law Offices of Runan Zhang, Mr. Wallace is a partner at the international law firm, Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCley, LLP, where he concentrates on intellectual property litigation with a specific emphasis on patent infringement, copyright/trademark and trade secret litigation. He is a highly regarded litigator and trial lawyer with extensive experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including antitrust, RICO and commercial fraud.
Mr. Wallace writes and lectures frequently, most recently on topics including Patent Litigation, The Use of Technology in the Trial of IP Cases, Patent Litigation in the Eastern District of Virginia, and The Implications of Antitrust Counterclaims in Patent Litigation. He most recently co-authored Trial of an Antitrust Case from West Publishing's Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts.

Mr. Wallace is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. and Florida and before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the Second, Third, Fourth, Seventh, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, as well as numerous U.S. district courts. Prior to joining Milbank, he was a partner in the Washington office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he was head of the intellectual property and technology litigation practice and co-head of the national litigation practice.
